CROCK POT ITALIAN CHICKEN PASTA RECIPE


This recipe starts with throwing nearly ever single ingredients into a crockpot and cooking on high for 3-4 hours. Things like onions, garlic, chicken, cream cheese, marinara sauce, and some seasonings. Actually, those are all the ingredients you throw into your crockpot. After it’s all cooked, you stir it together to shred the chicken and stir the melted cream cheese into the sauce. After a few minutes, everything will be pretty darn creamy and all you have to do is toss it together with some hot pasta.



This will FILL a crockpot and feed a crowd.

Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken Pasta

INGREDIENTS

1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1.25 lbs. chicken tenders
salt & pepper, to taste
1-25 oz. jar marinara sauce
12 oz. cream cheese
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning*
2 bay leaves
1 lb. pasta

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a cold crockpot, place onion, garlic, chicken, salt, pepper, marinara, cream cheese, Italian Seasoning and bay leaves. Cover and cook 3-4 hours or until chicken is very tender and will shred easily. Stir to shred chicken and melt cream cheese into the sauce. Toss with hot, cooked pasta and serve.
